Descriptive notes.

22-23 cm,head, anderparts, and rump white.Throat black, Back and upper tail coverts blackish brown. The feathers edged dusky gray. White rump is conspicuous in flight. Habitat. Where it waddles about the lawns and open grassy spaces picking up grasshoppers and crickets. Food and Feeding. Diet is mainly insects. Breeding. Breeding season is from Apr-Jun with second broods into Aug. It builds a huge, domed,untidy nest of grass, leaves, and odds and ends, high up in a tree. Several birds sometimes breed in company, and the same time site may be used annually. 3 eggs, are larger edition of the eggs of the Coomon Myna. Movements Said apparently to be sedentary.
